Five Minute Friday: Release

Five minute Friday - writing and going!
Start!

Release, the ability to just let go, to be finally sated with the outcome after the release.
Release I think is something that builds up inside of our emotions sometimes and then we lose it often times in the most horrible of places. I remember my mentor for my masters course, telling me how he lost it in a board meeting once. He was so stressed and tried of the endless judgments and battering he was taking on week after week that one day he just lost it. He started throwing chairs over and screaming. He told me that he saw himself from outside of himself and he just lost it. I wonder at release sometimes, I think its good as long as no one gets hurt. I wonder if that's what happened in part, when Yeshua turned the money changers tables over. The injustice around Him was just to intense that there had to be release. Release does not make us sinners it makes us real. God releases emotion often throughout the narratives of the Bible. The sad thing about this world is that there a lack of safe places around us just to release. To release pain, heartache, disappointments and failures. Everyone is trying to give advice and no one is creating space. I need a place of release which I often dont have the liberty to experience. I am thinking more about this space of release and hoping that I will find a place sometime and so will you.

  2. I had to stop by and visit. Thanks for stopping by my place on this five minute Friday. I wish we could sit and have a cup of coffee together. I think we don't often explore releasing our feelings, we too often bury them which causes more pain later. Thanks for sharing! Blessings!- Kathleen
